Job Descriptions:

Audit Planning & Execution

  • Develop annual audit plans aligned with Ghazanfar Pay’s strategic objectives and risk profile.

  • Conduct risk-based audits covering branch operations, agent networks, financial transactions, and IT systems.

  • Ensure audits are executed in compliance with EMI regulations, central bank requirements, and international standards.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.

Risk & Compliance Oversight

  • Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks across all functions.

  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to strengthen fraud detection and prevention mechanisms.

  • Monitor adherence to AML/CFT frameworks, KYC processes, and customer protection standards.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on audit recommendations and corrective actions.

Financial & Operational Controls

  • Review reconciliation processes between Ghazanfar Pay ledger, parent bank accounts, and central bank settlements.

  • Assess internal controls for cash handling, transaction monitoring, and financial reporting.

  • Evaluate agent liquidity management systems and fraud prevention tools.

  • Ensure operational resilience and business continuity plans are tested and effective.

Technology & Data Audits

  • Audit digital platforms, mobile applications, and backend systems for security and reliability.

  • Oversee IT general controls, cybersecurity monitoring, and vendor risk assessments.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and customer privacy frameworks.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Present audit findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

  • Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness.

  • Build strong relationships with regulators, external auditors, and stakeholders.

People & Performance Management

  • Lead and mentor the internal audit team, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

  • Develop training programs to enhance audit skills and regulatory knowledge.

  • Implement performance monitoring tools to ensure audit quality and efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA strongly preferred.

  • 4-5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance within EMI, fintech, or banking.

Competencies Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of internal auditing principles, banking operations, and risk assessment methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to banking and financial audits.

  • Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Analytical skills to evaluate operational risks, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.

  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills for presenting findings to senior management.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage audit schedules and ensure timely completion of assignments.
