Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose

The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial management: Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
  • Budget preparation: Assist in developing annual budgets and monitor expenditures against approved allocations.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance monitoring: Ensure adherence to company policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Audit support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Payroll administration: Manage payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
  • Financial analysis: Provide insights on cost control, revenue growth, and financial efficiency.
  • Taxation management: Handle tax filings, calculate liabilities, ensure timely payments, and maintain compliance with local and national tax laws.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English
