2. Objective
To provide technical expertise and training to farmers and field staff on modern agricultural techniques, crop management, irrigation water management, and sustainable farming practices, ensuring improved productivity and livelihood outcomes.
3. Key Responsibilities
Training Design and Delivery:
- Design and deliver irrigation‑aligned training programs for farmers (including men and women) on modern agricultural practices.
- Conduct practical, field‑based demonstrations on:
- Irrigated agronomy and orchard management
- Irrigation water scheduling and efficient water use
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) under irrigated systems
- Basic user‑level irrigation upkeep
- Climate‑resilient agricultural practices
- Develop training materials, manuals, and visual aids in local languages (Dari/Pashto).
Training of Trainers (ToT) and Coaching:
- Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) for field facilitators and lead farmers.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to field staff and community facilitators.
- Support peer learning sessions among farmers to reinforce adoption of improved practices.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor and evaluate the adoption of training practices by farmers.
- Conduct field visits to assess farmers' progress and provide on‑site guidance.
- Support post‑distribution monitoring of agricultural inputs in coordination with field staff.
Coordination and Reporting:
- Collaborate with project management, Community Mobilizers, and SME/Grants Officer to ensure training aligns with project objectives.
- Document training activities, prepare reports, and contribute to quarterly project progress reports.
- Perform any other task assigned by seniors/project management.

- Does not manage CfW activities
