ARM Consulting is a research and management consulting firm engaged in monitoring, evaluation, and data collection assignments across Afghanistan. It works with humanitarian and development partners to generate reliable field data that supports evidence-based decision-making.
To support this effort, ARM Consulting seeks to recruit Field Enumerators in Badghis, Balkh, Bamian, Ghazni, Jawzjan, Parwan, Takhar, and Maidan Wardak Provinces to collect high-quality agricultural data in accordance with established survey protocols and ethical standards.
- Purpose of the Assignment
Enumerators will support agricultural data collection and monitoring activities in Badghis, Balkh, Bamian, Ghazni, Jawzjan, Parwan, Takhar, and Maidan Wardak Provinces.
- Key Responsibilities
Field Enumerators will perform the following tasks:
- Conduct field visits and collect agricultural data using digital data-collection tools (such as Kobo Toolbox, ODK, or similar platforms).
- Identify and locate selected households or farms based on the provided sampling framework.
- Clearly explain the purpose of the assessment to respondents and obtain informed consent.
- Maintain respectful and culturally appropriate communication with community members.
- Ensure all collected data is accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timeframe.
- Review collected data before submission to minimize errors or missing information.
- Report any inconsistencies, errors, or challenges encountered during fieldwork to supervisors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of respondent information.
- Ensure participation is voluntary.
- Follow humanitarian principles and protection standards during field activities.
- Coordinate with provincial supervisors and ARM Consulting project staff regarding daily activities.
- Participate in enumerator training sessions prior to deployment.
- Provide daily updates on assessment progress and challenges encountered during fieldwork.
