HHRD Afghanistan (Regional Office of Helping Hand USA) got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan, HHRD Afghanistan needs one Female physiotherapist in Jalalabad, the candidate will receive 20000 AFN monthly, one female speech therapist in Jalalabad the candidate will receive 18000 AFN monthly that the candidate who will conduct daily physiotherapy and speech therapy sessions to the disabled children  and women in Nangarhar physiotherapy Center and one male speech therapist for Kabul city, the candidate will receive 18000 AFN who will conduct daily Speech therapy and language pathology sessions to the disabled children in Kabul physiotherapy Center.

 

Job Descriptions:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assess and record disabled children in the districts and the city who need physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the supervisor.
  • Work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions, sometimes over a period of weeks or months.
  • Make clinical assessments and diagnoses in order to treat physical conditions.
  • Design and review clinical management plans that encourage exercise and movement using a range of techniques, which may include specialist rehabilitation, lifestyle medicine, long-term strategies, and clinical techniques.
  • Involve parents and careers in the treatment, review, and rehabilitation of patients.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions.
  • Empower patients, through education and advice, to take control of their own care.
  • Write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals, such as consultants, occupational therapists, and social workers, to exchange information about patients’ background and progress and to refer patients who require additional medical attention.
  • Keep up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients.
  • Supervise student and junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers.
  • Be legally responsible and accountable.
  • Maintain a caring, compassionate, and professional attitude at all times.
  • Manage clinical risks.
  • Conduct field travel to provide medical services when necessary.
  • Support CWDP with the registration of CWDs and prepare treatment plans for these children at CPRP.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the program manager and director.
  • Maintain attendance discipline.
  • Ensure the maintenance and safeguarding of center-related equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with patients.
  • Regularly review treatment goals and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Prepare a list of required supplies and share it with the supervisor.
  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patients.
Job Requirements:

 HHRD plans to hire Phesiotheraphist and Speechtherpaists fullfiling tollowing requirments :

  • Bachelor  degree of physiotherapy or speech therapy field from a recognized university
  • At least three years of experience of working with NGOs or with government.
  • Familiar with Computer programs (Microsoft Office).
  • Good communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
