Stream line and strengthening of internal audit department:
- Preparation / review of audit policy, procedure manuals, modification, review and renewals thereto, including risk based audit.
- Preparation of audit plans and programs and reconciliation of accounts.
- Identification of risk areas with suggestion and recommendation.
- Monitoring the asset quality, risk management and credit quality.
- Establish appropriate and effective accounting systems and procedures.
- Preparation of Various audit formats.
Compliance of central bank’s regulation.
- Ensure the compliance of the regulation of the central bank with regard to credit expose ceilings, prudential norms, risk assessment, NPA management and other guidelines from time to time.
- Compliance and submission of various return and reports to the central bank as per the regulation.
- Take part in finalization of the financial statements of the bank.
- Take part in audit committee for taking necessary step to improve the working conditions of the bank.
- Reporting to the board of supervisors with proper guidance with the audit observation for smooth functioning of the bank.
Auditing Planning, Monitoring and Decision Process.
- Conducting the audit on daily basis.
- Departmental audit covering all the department functions.
- Credit Audit financial audit, revenue audit.
- Compliance audit.
- Monitoring the progress and performance of the audit department.
- Submission of periodical audit reports.
- Preparation audit training plan, schedule etc.
- Conduct the audit training for the local stuff to build their capacity.
- Details of removal of audit objections and corrective steps taken by management.
Reporting Process:
- Reporting to the audit committee of the bank.
- Reporting to the board of supervisors.
- Reporting to the central bank.
- To work in co – operation with the bank’s management board.
- To work in co – operation with bank audit committee.
- To organize for annual statuary auditors for the bank.
- Provide training to the local national stuff and build their capacity.
- For all administrative matters to CEO / Management board.
- Any other assignment as per the decision of board of supervisors
