Key Responsibilities
· Assist the medical doctor and health facility team in daily immunization activities.
· Administer vaccines according to national Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) guidelines.
· Maintain accurate vaccination records and ensure proper documentation in registers and HMIS forms.
· Monitor and manage vaccine stock, ensuring cold chain standards are maintained.
· Provide health education to caregivers and beneficiaries on the importance of vaccination, hygiene, and nutrition.
· Identify and report adverse events following immunization (AEFI) to the HF In‑Charge.
· Prepare and submit monthly immunization and HMIS reports to the HF In‑Charge.
· Participate in outreach sessions and mobile vaccination campaigns as required.
· Maintain infection prevention and control (IPC) standards at all times.
· Participate in health facility meetings and contribute to team discussions.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the HF In‑Charge or Cluster Manager.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
· Diploma or certificate in Nursing, Midwifery, or Vaccination training from a recognized institute (MoPH registration preferred).
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in immunization or primary health care.
· Knowledge of EPI protocols, HMIS, and basic patient care procedures.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Fluency in Pashto and Dari; basic English language understanding is desirable.
