Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

The Female Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care, assisting doctors in patient management, and ensuring the smooth operation of all nursing activities in the health facility. She supports outpatient and inpatient care, prepares reports, and contributes to improving health service quality in line with ARSDO’s objectives.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist the medical doctor in daily outpatient consultations and treatment.

·       Provide health education to female patients on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.

·       Ensure the proper management and administration of nursing services at the health facility.

·       Maintain accurate and updated patient records and ensure proper documentation.

·       Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor.

·       Monitor vital signs and report critical changes to the supervising doctor.

·       Prepare and submit monthly nursing and HMIS reports to the HF In-Charge.

·       Maintain infection prevention and control (IPC) standards at all times.

·       Participate in health facility meetings and contribute to team discussions.

·       Perform any other duties assigned by the HF In-Charge or Cluster Manager

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

·       Diploma in Nursing from a recognized medical institute (registered with MoPH preferred).

·       Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a primary healthcare setting.

·       Knowledge of HMIS and basic patient care procedures.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Fluency in Pashto and Dari; basic English language understanding is desirable
