2. Oversee the entire distribution area, ensuring the safety and coordination of beneficiaries, distribution team members, and manual laborers.
3. Implement and follow daily security protocols, including responsibility for security-related equipment on-site.
4. Efficiently manage space within the distribution site, avoiding congestion and maintaining smooth beneficiary flow.
5. Direct and guide beneficiaries (BNFs) to appropriate food distribution points, ensuring clarity and order.
6. Prioritize vulnerable groups, such as elderly individuals, women, and children, when managing lines and access.
7. Maintain professional decorum in high-pressure or challenging situations, resolving conflicts peacefully and effectively.
8. Respond to community feedback and concerns related to the distribution process, ensuring transparency and accountability.
9. Assist beneficiaries and community members in accessing WASSA help desks and using the complaint and feedback mechanisms.
10. Support COVID-19 prevention protocols, ensuring compliance with safety procedures by all beneficiaries.
11. Demonstrate physical readiness, including the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during long shifts.
12. Display excellent communication skills, with a strong, clear, and authoritative voice to manage large crowds.
13. Be patient, respectful, and helpful, especially when interacting with frustrated or vulnerable individuals.
14. Pay close attention to detail, ensuring proper execution of crowd control and site management duties.
15. Carry out any additional duties assigned by the District Supervisor or line manager as required.
