Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

Facilitate structured recreational, educational, psychosocial, and awareness-raising activities for children. Ensure that CFS activities are safe, inclusive, age-appropriate, and child-friendly. Support children to participate actively in games, learning, creative, and social activities. Identify children who may require additional support and refer concerns through established referral mechanisms. Promote child safeguarding, protection, inclusion, and prevention of violence and exploitation. Maintain daily attendance and activity records. Support the development of weekly and monthly activity plans. Communicate with parents, caregivers, community members, and relevant project staff as appropriate. Ensure proper use, organization, and maintenance of CFS materials and equipment. Report any child protection or safeguarding concerns immediately through the appropriate channels. Perform other duties related to CFS activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 education; relevant diploma or university education in education, social sciences, psychology, child protection, or a related field is an advantage. At least 3 years of relevant experience working with children, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian setting. Experience facilitating child-friendly, recreational, educational, or psychosocial activities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of child safeguarding and protection principles. Ability to work respectfully with children from diverse backgrounds.
