Main Responsibilities:
1. Organize and supervise the distribution of High Energy Biscuit (HEB) and other commodities at the field (Reception Center, Zero Point/ Islam Qala), ensuring smooth flow and beneficiary satisfaction.
2. Take an active role in registering and verifying beneficiaries, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
3. Ensure all commodities entrusted to WASSA are properly accounted for upon arrival at FDPs, verifying quantity and quality against waybills. Record and report shortages, losses, or damages promptly.
4. Arrange the distribution of HEB, register them in food distribution registers, and ensure their entitlements are correctly provided.
5. Assure the proper distribution of WFP food (HEB) to eligible beneficiaries (Returnees from Iran), ensuring adherence to program guidelines and fairness.
6. Keep updated and accurate records of distributions, beneficiary lists, and all relevant documentation for safe storage.
7. Ensure the distribution center is properly organized and secured with ropes, banners, and crowd control measures to facilitate smooth operations.
8. Ensure availability and proper use of all necessary distribution tools such as forms, ropes, banners, and measuring devices.
9. Sign and submit Daily Distribution Reports (Daily Reconciliation) , ensuring all observations and issues are documented accurately and promptly.
10. Communicate and coordinate with other project teams (Cash & Food) to ensure aligned operations and avoid duplication of work.
11. Ensure all financial documents related to daily laborers and offloading staff are completed accurately and on time.
12. In coordination with management, maintain positive relationships with local authorities, CDCs, community elders, and government bodies to ensure cooperation and transparency.
13. Conduct regular community meetings to explain program objectives, selection criteria, and distribution processes, ensuring beneficiary understanding and participation.
14. Ensure all beneficiaries receive their entitlements on time, the distribution site is accessible, and all recipients sign or fingerprint to confirm receipt of food/non-food items.
