Job Descriptions:

To assist in the development, maintenance, monitoring, and control of project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring that project activities are properly planned, updated, analyzed, and reported in accordance with project requirements.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Assist in the preparation of Baseline Schedules.
  • Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Develop activity lists and coding structures.
  • Develop activity tracking sheet.
  • Define logical relationships and activity sequencing.
  • Establish project calendars and scheduling parameters.
  • Prepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
  • Develop procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and detailed schedules.
  • Collect progress data from site teams and perform weekly schedule updates.
  • Update actual progress in Primavera P6 and monitor planned versus actual performance.
  • Identify critical and near-critical activities.
  • Analyze schedule variances and delays.
  • Track project milestones and key deliverables.
  • Monitor float consumption and schedule risks.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Generate schedule performance reports.
  • Develop look-ahead schedules (2-week, 3-week, and monthly)
  • Coordinate with Engineering, construction, and project management teams.
  • Participate in planning and progress review meetings.
  • Liaise with Site Engineers regarding schedule updates and progress reporting.
  • Ensure schedule compliance with contractual requirements.

 

Job Requirements:

Software Requirements

  • Primavera P6 Professional.
  • Microsoft Project.
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
  • AutoCAD (basic understanding preferred).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in planning and scheduling of construction or industrial projects.
  • Good knowledge of CPM Scheduling and Primavera P6.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
