Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

Provision of emergency health and WASH services through outreach health teams in Paktika Province.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the direct management of the senior Health Officer, the Medical Doctor/Nurse is responsible for the following main activities to ensure the provision of quality OPD.

Diagnosis and treatment of patients coming to the primary health care
Conducting proper physical examination and checking vital signs of all patients.
Using all standard treatment guidelines (IMNCI, NTG, TB, Malaria, MH GAP…)
Dispensing of Rational Medicines usage to patients in the HF/outreach team.
Provide medicine/medical supply monthly consumption reports regularly.
Provide all monthly reports according to the HMIS tools.
Ensure the patients' triage registration and measurements of vital signs.
Dressing and first aid care of injured patients if needed.
Recording and reporting of beneficiaries or patients regularly.
Identify any patient in need of urgent care and refer them immediately to the equipped Health Center.
Register any patient coming to seek care in the registration book.
Respect IMC standards of procedures for referral and stabilization of patients.
Take part in the management of pharmaceutical goods and medical equipment.
Accompany patients to the external referral HF when required.
Any other activity assigned by line Supervisor.

Medical Degree/Nursing Diploma. (Candidate must have passed the Exit exam)

Experience:

At least 1 year of working experience in the provision of health care services at the primary health care level.

Competency:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Pashto.
