Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international, non-profitable, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization with its head quarter in Birmingham, UK. It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Islamic Relief intends to recruit qualified and motivated university fresh graduates for stakeholder organization in various administrative, technical, and programmatic areas.

Areas of Work

Qualified candidates will be assigned to one of the following functional areas based on their educational background, skills, competencies, and the needs of the organization:

1. Information Technology and Technical Services including repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting technological equipment.

2. Youth and Freelancing Programs

3. Procurement and Document Management

4. Finance, Administration, and Records Management

5. Employability Skills and Youth Capacity Development

6. Interns/Trainee Administration

7. Foreign Relations and Cultural Attachés

8. Inventory and Goods Management

General Eligibility Requirements

1. The applicant must be an Afghan citizen.

2. The applicant should be fresh graduate and hold at least a bachelor's degree from a recognized higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.

3. No prior work experience is required for these positions.

Skills Needed:

1. Fluency in at least one of the national official languages (Pashto or Dari) and basic knowledge of English.

2 Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant computer applications.

3. Good communication and teamwork skills.

4. For technical and specialized positions, candidates must possess relevant knowledge and practical skills in the respective field.,
