About Kabul Diabetes Management OPD Clinic:

The Kabul (Diabetes Management) OPD Clinic KDMC is the first private clinic working based on international standards for diabetic care in Afghanistan. KDMC is a specialized medical center for diabetic patients.

Job Descriptions:

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Taking & Preparing samples from the patient's according to given orders

· Operating lab equipment’s accordingly (Microscopic, Biochemistry, and Serology…)

· Reporting daily activities to supervisor.

· Report about any damaged items that need replacement or repairmen to lab in charge

· Participate in diabetes education programs & screening camps out of clinic (Kabul or Provinces).

· Performing any other medical related tasks assigned by the supervisor

· Follows the universal hygiene standards in the working environment

· Supports the other medical team members when needed: lab staff, nurses, colleagues in other departments, etc

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

· Graduated from registered Medical Institute (Have passed the MoPH exit exam)

· At least two years’ experience as Lab Technician in a hospital or health center is essential

· Good interpersonal and intercultural communication skills

Computer Working Skills (MS Excel & MS Word)
