Job Description & Core Duties
The Hospital Receptionist acts as the main point of professional interface for visiting patients and families. The role guarantees organized administrative flow, structured patient queue intake, accurate logbook registration, and supportive direction inside our reception areas.
· Patient Intake: Welcome arriving patients, log details into the registration records, and assign accurate entry cards.
· Call Management: Handle front desk phone lines professionally and direct calls to corresponding clinical departments.
· Queue Direction: Guide patients toward appropriate diagnostic areas, labs, or outpatient clinics to maintain structured flow.
· Record Upkeep: Support administrative teams by updating and filing basic medical record folders.
