Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Service Delivery
    • Provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Capacity Building
    • Train nurses, doctors, and assistants on basic physiotherapy techniques.
    • Support integration of rehabilitation services into hospital care.
  • Monitoring & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
    • Report physiotherapy service indicators to HMIS and hospital management.
  • Coordination
    • Collaborate with surgical, orthopedic, and medical wards for patient referrals.
    • Participate in hospital technical meetings and rehabilitation working groups.
  • Community Awareness
    • Conduct awareness sessions for patients and families on home-based exercises.
    • Promote preventive care and disability inclusion.
  • Compliance & Safeguarding
    • Ensure adherence to MoPH EPHS guidelines and ethical standards.
    • Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and protection from abuse.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognized qualification).
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical physiotherapy experience, preferably in hospital settings.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and MoPH EPHS standards.
  • Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Fluency in Dari/Pashto; working knowledge of English preferred.
