Job Descriptions:

The Hematologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with blood disorders, including anemia, clotting disorders, and hematologic malignancies. The role involves working closely with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of blood disorders (e.g., anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, clotting disorders)
  • Review and interpret laboratory results, including blood counts, coagulation profiles, and bone marrow findings
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans, including medication and follow-up care
  • Perform or supervise specialized procedures such as bone marrow aspiration/biopsy (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with other specialists for multidisciplinary patient management
  • Provide consultation services for inpatients and outpatients
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient records and treatment plans
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards
  • May require on-call duties and emergency consultations

Qualifications & Requirements

MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
Specialization in Hematology (or Internal Medicine with Hematology experience/training)
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in hematology
  • Ability to interpret complex laboratory data
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
