Job Descriptions:

Earsa Omran Construction Company is looking for a qualified Quality Control Engineer to supervise and ensure the quality of road construction works in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and QA/QC standards. The engineer will be responsible for inspection, testing, quality documentation, and coordination with the project team throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and monitor all site construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
Ensure that all construction works comply with quality standards and contract requirements.
Inspect and approve excavation, subgrade, base course, drainage, concrete, and pavement works before and during execution.
Monitoring QA/QC tests, including FDT, Slump Test, Concrete Cylender test, and other required field tests.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, Consultant, and Client during inspections and site activities.
Prepare Method Statements, quality reports, and daily site reports.
Verify that all construction materials meet the approved technical specifications before use.
Supervise site staff, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of works.
Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to the drawings.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, testing records, and project files.
Assist in project measurement, quantity verification, and preparation of work progress reports.
Attend coordination meetings with the Client, Consultant, and project team.

Job Requirements:

BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant field
A minimum of 6 years of general working experience and 3 years of similar working experience
Previous experience in UNOPS CRLP (Plum Concrete Road) projects is required
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and other relevant engineering software.
Proven experience in interpreting and implementing engineering drawings, technical specifications, on construction sites.
Ability to prepare quality inspection reports, daily site reports, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with the Project Manager, consultants, and contractors.
Excellent Dari, Pashto and English language skills.
