FMIC provides specialized consultations, advanced diagnostics (CT, MRI, radiology), surgeries, a 24/7 pharmacy, and state-of-the-art laboratory testing. It has recorded over 2.3 million patient visits and consultations, conducted 6.8 million laboratory tests, and performed 59,000 surgeries, including more than 5,700 paediatric and adult cardiac procedures. As Afghanistan’s first ISO and SafeCare-certified hospital (recertified in 2024), FMIC has pioneered open-heart surgery, advanced diagnostics, and telemedicine, earning the IHF Award in 2021.

Through its Patient Welfare Support Programme, it has provided over $57.6 million in subsidized or free care, ensuring equitable access to high-quality treatment for vulnerable populations. 

Job Descriptions:

   a. Regular Responsibilities:

  1. Process all the admission / discharges, billing, inpatient bill estimation and collection of cash from patients during night shift.
  2. To do initial assessment of patient financial position and fill PFE and recommend the deserving patients to welfare.
  3. Recover the commitment amount from the patients at the time of discharge.
  4. Maintain the daily admission/ discharge log for management review.
  5. Charge the following medical supplies / procedures cost in the respective patient’s account.
  • Oxygen Supplies
  • Physiotherapy
  • Endoscopies
  • Any other charges
  1. Reconcile the patient admission records with the ward records and update the system accordingly.
  2. Filing of all documents properly.
  3. Any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor.

 

  b. Periodic Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the Deposit Status Report
Job Requirements:

Qualification and Education:

  • Fresh Graduate, Bachelor of Business Administration is preferred.

 

Knowledge, competencies and Skills:

  • Good communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under difficult working conditions.
  • Good computer skills, especially MS Office.     

 

Work experience:

  • 2 years of relevant experience
