Job Purpose:

The HR Officer is a key member of the human resources team and is responsible for supporting various HR functions in the Paktika. This role involves assisting with recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, and other HR-related activities.

Job Purpose:

The HR Officer is a key member of the human resources team and is responsible for supporting various HR functions in the Paktika. This role involves assisting with recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, and other HR-related activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, and managing the hiring process.
  • Conduct initial screening of resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Ensuring that all the staff personnel files are up to date in terms of contracts, timesheets, application forms, diplomas, and all related documents,
  • Preparation and follow-up of staff list for different projects,
  • Evaluation of all staff on different projects and their follow-up,
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including addressing employee grievances and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs for employees.
  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as preparing HR reports and maintaining HR documentation.
  • Preparing the monthly joiner and leaver and submitting the salary payrolls.
  • Ensuring that the staff respects ATOA. Internal staff regulation and apply staff regulation, and answer all questions coming from the staff about our internal rules.
  • Verification of merit increases, promotions, transfers, etc., processing changes through payroll, and notification to staff of changes in salary.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by his supervisor.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior HR role,
  • Knowledge of data management and reporting standards set by the organization and relevant government entities.
  • Ability to work effectively and coordinate with the team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English languages
  • Proven ability in management and supervision
  • Possess negotiation skills.
