About ACDO:

Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political and non-profit humanitarian organization founded in 2014 register with the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GoIRA) under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk and underserved people throughout the country.

ACDO responds to the needs of disadvantaged and marginalized rural and urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scars resources in a well, efficient, transparent and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion.

ACDO has active presence at least in nine provinces in five regions of the country and intends to expand its operations to the remaining provinces as well with the aim to transform itself into a leading and developed organization which will deliver to and support significant number of people who had been affected by the long protracted and sudden on-set emergencies in Afghanistan. Regardless of the hardest circumstances that existed in Afghanistan in 2022 and 2021, ACDO has managed to deliver humanitarian and development assistance in Nangarhar, Herat, Balkh, Kabul, Kandahar, Bamyan, Wardak, Jouzjan, Paktia, Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Daykundi and Farah provinces.

Job Descriptions:
  • Receive and inspect incoming stock shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Document any damages or discrepancies.
  • Organize and store all inventory appropriately based on product characteristics, turnover, weight, and type. Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) stock rotation principles.
  • Maintain inventory counts and ensure adequate stock levels. Re-order stock as needed in coordination with the procurement team.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders. Update stock records after each transaction.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly full physical inventory audits. Reconcile counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed bin locations and shelf labels for all inventory.
  • Ensure the warehouse adheres to health and safety policies. Report any unsafe conditions.
  • Operate and maintain the stock database system created by the organization.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded accurately in the database in real time.
  • Generate and submit monthly inventory reports to the Procurement Department, including stock levels, movement history, alerts on low stock, and discrepancies.
  • Provide support in the digitalization and improvement of stock control processes.
  • Create and maintain visual stock tracking tools (bin cards, shelf labels, color indicators).
  • Support regular internal and external audits with accurate and organized documentation.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be Afghan
  •  Graduation certified document of school degree and Graduation bachelor`s degree is preferable.
  • Having 3 years’ experience in the related field.
  • Strong communication skill.
  • good knowledge of National languages and English Language (written and spoken).
  • MS office computer program knowledge and skill
