Job Descriptions:

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starters, and power distribution panels.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in production lines, crushers, mills, kilns, and packing plants to minimize downtime.
Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, and control devices as needed.
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, and PLC/SCADA interfaces.
Ensure proper functioning of emergency power systems, generators, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).

Installation & Project Support

Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment and systems.
Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Support plant expansion and modification projects by providing electrical engineering input and supervision.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors during equipment installation and commissioning.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company HSE policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for electrical maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
Report any safety hazards, equipment deficiencies, or maintenance needs to the Maintenance Manager.
Follow all health and safety guidelines while working with electrical systems and equipment.

Energy Management & Optimization

Monitor electrical power consumption and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
Analyze equipment performance data and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve reliability and reduce costs.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and reliability improvement plans.

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports as required by management.
Coordinate with production, mechanical, and process teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

· 1–2 years of proven experience in electrical maintenance and engineering, preferably in a cement plant or heavy industrial environment.

· Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, motor control, variable frequency drives, and industrial automation.

· Experience with PLC/SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Schneider) is strongly preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

· Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC, NEC) and safety regulations.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

· Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a production environment.

· Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.

· Previous experience in a corporate or industrial setting is a plus.

Basic understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work and chemical handling.

Language Skills: Pashto and Urdu; basic English preferred

Computer Skills: MS Office; AutoCAD; familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems and electrical design software
