Job Summary:
The Nurse is responsible for effective and serious nursing care services for OPD, IPD, Emergency and patients in ward. She must have at least 3 years of experience in OT and NICU. Special experience in assisting surgical cases like C/S Hysterectomy, myomectomy and etc and special experience in neonatal/paediatric ward. Check and keeping record of vital signs, administration of medicine, match the drug dosage and care of wound in compliance with hospital policies.
Responsibilities:
Ø Ensure that patient receives its required medicines on time as per medical doctor or specialist order.
Ø Develop and implement individualized patients care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Ø Medical services to patients in order to perform nursing duties within the bed.
Ø Collection of information responsibly about patient and its care.
Ø Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition and maintain recording vital signs, distribution of medicines, match the drug dosage and care of wound.
Ø Register of patient’s vital signs and all other nursing related treatment charts of patients.
Ø Ensure performing laboratory examination and on time informing of doctor.
Ø Prepare and arrangement of activities monthly quarterly and yearly plan
Ø Performing night shift duty as per ward schedule.
Ø Provide report of progress of the related sector activities.
Ø Perform other duties related to the task that is entrusted by the relevant department.
Ø Active participation in designing and implementing various training within the nursing service.
Ø Ensuring all necessary medicines are available in OT.
Ø Ensuring all surgical sets and equipment are available and ok.
Ø Check for Cleaning of OT before and after the procedure.
Ø Sterilization of all surgical instruments.
Ø Checking of OT for enough lighting, electricity, temperature and etc.
Ø Check the patients document before the operation and being ensured from lab examination, consultation for anesthesia, internal medicine, and agreement for the procedure.
Ø She must perform night shift duty.
Ø Being ensured all OT instruments like electrocautery, suction machine and OT lights are ok and have no defect.
Ø She must actively work in neonatal/pediatric ward and NICU.
Ø Compliance with all conditions to prevent infection and compliance with medical uniform in the official working time.
Ø Implementation and compliance with strict standards set by the relevant department.
Ø Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards guidelines of care
Ø Active participation in the evaluation of Quarterly assigned standard of related sector.
Ø Respect all rules and regulations of the AFGA and adhere safeguarding policy
Ø She will report to the hospital manager.
Ø Must be female.
