Job Descriptions:

The Electrical & Solar Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and solar PV systems. The position will ensure that all electrical and solar works are implemented according to approved designs, technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements. The engineer will also follow up, monitor, and inspect project sites and ongoing works, supervise technical teams, conduct site inspections, prepare technical documentation, and provide technical support to project teams.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical systems and Solar PV systems.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Solar PV system design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, protection systems, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Experience with grid-connected, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems.
  • Ability to prepare and review electrical and solar system designs, single-line diagrams (SLD), BOQs, technical specifications, and calculations.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, earthing/grounding, protection, cable sizing, and electrical equipment selection.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys, system assessments, troubleshooting, and technical inspections.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant electrical/solar design software is an advantage.
  • Ability to supervise technicians, subcontractors, and installation teams.
  • Good report writing, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and travel to project sites/provinces when required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
