About Organization for Community Coordination and Development (OCCD):

Organization for Community Coordination and Development (OCCD) established and registered with Ministry of Economy in 2013, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and independent organization. OCCD works in partnership with Government, development and implementing partners in Health, Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Research and Development

Job Descriptions:

• Arrange meetings and appointments with regard to CBE Class and other beneficiary groups in the area.
• Resolves any dispute related to projects interventions;
• Understand the importance of sustainability and promote its concept among the beneficiaries through dissemination, mobilization and active participation of community in the project interventions.
• Facilitate the work of the project staff through dissemination of the project objectives, and provide inputs.
• Identify, facilitate and select beneficiary according to project’s selection criteria.
• Help the provincial team and technical staff in community awareness raising regarding the importance of Education, particularly to the girls.
• Coordinate with the village communities and the authorities.
• Report monthly progress to the provincial tam to through the format requested by OCCD.
• Identify cultural sensitivities and inform other colleagues on the relevant issues.
• Collect relevant information/data in collaboration education and other stakeholders.
• Assist field office team in project operations data analysis and interpretation including report preparation.
• Maintain a good relationship with the other members of the team including performing any other tasks/duties as required.
• Distribute the required TLM and ensure their proper usage, particularly by the students.
• Coordinate closely with DED, school principals, teachers, communities, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, PSEA/PSH, child protection, accountability, and organizational policies.
• Regularly visits the CBE classes to ensuring the quality implementation of the CBE related activities at the field level.
• Perform any other project activity assigned by the provincial Manager.

Job Requirements:

Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, or any other related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Education sector, preferably NGOs.
• Good coordination and communication skills with government and community stakeholders.
• Good computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Kunar Province.
• Language- (Pashto: Fluent, Dari: Good working knowledge preferred, and English: Good working knowledge desirable)
