Job Descriptions:

An internal auditor helps an organization evaluate operating guidelines. Controls or procedures, and reports significant problems to management. An IT audit splecialist also ensures that internal procedures agree with the organization policies, standards and regularity requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.      Audits information systems, platforms, and operating procedures of IT in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security.

2.      Conduct audits of IT systems and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

3.      Determines and recommends improvements in current controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades.

4.      Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and controls to mitigate loss.

5.      Develops and implements Information Technology (IT) audit coverage program.

6.      Review and assess the effectiveness of IT controls, including access controls, data integrity, and incident response.

7.      Provides internal control guidance during system development initiatives.

8.      Network (checking of network firewalls, network gaps, cabling, all of devices configuration, branches connectivity, network security, network monitoring software and it is usage, internet and Data connectivity’s, and monitoring of all related network Section).

9.      System administration (Bank Official email domain and it is user “who has access”, checking and monitoring of all servers, applications, computer systems, user privileges, helpdesk services, and all related systems which relevant to System Admin section).

10.  CCTV (monitoring Recording of all cameras, DVR’s record backups “video”, Hard drives, DVR’s, and all systems which related to CCTV section).

11.  Ensure DR site testing and deviations is good.

12.  Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to CIA.

13.  Performs audit of CBS and D-Banking departments

14.  Assists the CIA in developing and updating the annual audit plan based on risk assessment.

15.  Performs audits and special assignments as needed.

16.  Checking all the ATM machines, Reconsilation process and downtime reports with D-Banking department.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science or other relevant degree.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience related to the position.  

Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dari, Pashto, & English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
