The Afghan Welfare Volunteer Aid Organization (AWVAO) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political institution. It is registered with the Ministry of Economy under serial number (6070) dated (14/07/1403), corresponding to (05/10/2024), and is authorized by the Ministry of Economy to operate in the capital and provinces of the country.
The goal of AWVAO is to implement sustainable assistance programs primarily in rural areas of Afghanistan, focusing on supporting children and their families who are facing severe economic poverty. To achieve these people-centered objectives, AWVAO primarily concentrates on five main areas of work: education, provision of primary health services, drinking water, emergency aid, and disaster relief.
The organization is determined to make significant contributions in various sectors, especially in the growth and development of the country’s education system, through supporting and managing schools, establishing supplementary training courses, providing equipment, and creating a safe learning environment in public schools such as Khazani, Boyazar, Safa, and Bazari schools in the provinces of Kabul, Kunduz, and Ghazni.
