Main Duties and responsibilities:
· To assist IT Office with the day-to-day office operations.
· To keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them.
· To install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
· To monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
· To talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
· To troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
· To replace parts as required.
· To conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
· To coordinate the timely repair and return to service of any faulty systems or items of equipment.
· To ensure the continuous availability of a hierarchy to deal with an emergency in any essential computer/communication system.
· To ensure the availability of any stationery or consumables required by any computer/communication system.
· To take backup of data in any computer/communication system.
· To assist other departments to train their employees in the effective use of any computer/communication systems.
· To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
· To respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the hotel.
· Able to perform other IT or Systems related task as may be assigned.
Other Duties and responsibilities:
- To be thoroughly familiar with the responsibilities and to depute during his/her absence.
- To always provide courteous and professional services and maintain good working relationship with all colleagues.
- To be fully aware of the Hotel’s policy and procedures and to adhere to them.
- To have a complete understanding of the hotel’s policy relating to fire, safety, and health.
- To have a complete understanding of the hotel’s employee handbook and adhere to the regulations contained therein.
- To ensure the confidentiality of data and information and not to be disclosed outside the department. Financial Controller shall exercise discretion in this matter.
- Regularly attends on-the-job, behavioural, and vocational training in own and related areas to enhance skill and develop multi-functionality.
- Must be a self-starter, alert, energetic, responsible, and flexible.
Experience:
- . A minimum of two (2) years of experience in IT, Software and Network in reputable organization. Capable of managing Windows Servers, Operating Systems and especially Network. Understanding the disaster recovery.
Job Experience Requirements:
- 1 Minimum BCS
- 2 Having knowledge of Networking, CCNA, MTCNA, MCSA, MCSE.
