· Provide orientation to the target HHs about the nutrition of their children.
· Ensure LNSs are calculated and requested as per the number of the children in each district and submit the request to the project manager each and every month.
· Explain the usage of LNS and how to feed the children
· Identify the children and register the families who have children above 6-59 months
· Ensure all project activities are implemented based on the program objectives and Standards of BSFP Focal Point.
· Work closely with field staff, BSFP Focal Point Distribution and Warehouse Keepers to ensure smooth implementation of BSFP Focal Point component, timely registration of project beneficiaries and issuance of proper project identification documents.
· Ensure the Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program (BSFP Focal Point) activities are implemented successfully.
· Monitor the quality of the program by conducting regular supervisory visits, on-the-job trainings, use of Quality Improvement Verification Checklists.
· Facilitate in implementing the nutrition status improvement activities at the district and village levels.
· Receive and ensure proper storage of LNSs at the district level until the distribution.
· Take the responsibility to ensure delivering nutrition commodities to the targeted FDPs in time by regular following up the supplier of the donor.
· Coordinate with governmental health offices (GHO), district health offices (DHOs), and local council to implement the project activities and obtain the necessary permits.
· Supervise the distribution of supplementary food to children under 2 years and Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW) as per the guidelines.
· Regular reports to the supervisor.
Provide regular trainings to the target women and ensure the LNSs are consumed by the recipients timely and accordingly
