Job Descriptions:

Job Summary: 

HERO is seeking young and energetic HR Officer with a solid background of experience in Human Resources, who will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the HR Department. Reporting to the Operation Manager, the HR Officer will perform the following duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter and maintain records of newly hired employees in the Human Resources database.
  • Maintain human resources data in hard as well as in soft.
  • Ensures that human resources files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Kardan University’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure entry and maintenance of daily attendance record of all administrative, academic and support staff in database.
  • Track and resolve any problem in database in coordination with MIS Department.
  • Prepare and submit reports regarding terminations, transfers and new hiring on monthly basis to the HR-Manager.
  • Track and recommend payroll related issues to the HR-Manager. 
  • Receive all CVs and documents from candidates for fresh recruitment online and in hard.
  • Perform recruitment efforts and shortlist CVs as and when asked.
  • Stay informed about human resources-related issues and bring them to the attention of the HR Manager for appropriate action.
  • Maintain proper record of Leaves on monthly basis. 
  • Handle all documentation related to visas, work permits, invitation letters, and the attestation of documents for international staff with the relevant government ministries and authorities.
  • Maintain attendance record of all staff on daily basis.
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical functions.
  • Perform any other relevant task assigned by the HR Manager.
Job Requirements:

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in Dari, Pashtu and English languages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to thrive in team environments.
  • Ability to work independently, taking initiatives in line with the university’s business interests.
  • Ability to work and respond within short delivery timelines.
