Role Summary

As part of our expansion in Afghanistan, we are hiring in our Business Development Department for our Kabul office to drive sales growth, develop new accounts, and strengthen relationships with importers, exporters, NGOs, international organizations, and logistics partners.

Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and industry trends through targeted market research.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve individual and company revenue targets.
  • Acquire new customers across freight forwarding, shipping, project logistics, NGOs, government, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s logistics services (air, road, rail, customs clearance, project cargo, multimodal).
  • Prepare customer-specific quotations, proposals, and presentations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure profitable contracts.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts and reports to management.
  • Monitor competitors, market developments, and pricing trends to support business strategy.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, Customer Service, and Management to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences as required.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Key Account Management in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, transportation, customs procedures, and logistics services.
  • Established network in Afghanistan’s business community, NGOs, international organizations, or logistics sector is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
