Afghanistan Development & Assistance Organization (ADAO) is a national NGO registered under the Ministry of Economy which is established 17 years ago (founded in 2006) by a group of young and professional Afghans to work on the development of Agriculture, sustainable livelihoods opportunities to support most vulnerable communities both urban and rural areas consequently will have access to better education, primary health care, good governance, and eventually improved sustainable community development in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

The HR/Admin Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating human resources and administrative functions of the organization. She assists in recruitment processes, staff record management, payroll support, and general administrative tasks. The position ensures smooth office operations and compliance with organizational policies and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Job Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in human resources and administrative functions, preferably in an NGO environment.
  3. Strong understanding of HR processes including recruitment and selection, onboarding, contract management, personnel file management, attendance tracking, filing system, and payroll support.
  4. Experience in HR documentation, filing system management, and maintaining confidential staff records.
  5. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and basic labor regulations.
  6. Experience in preparing HR reports, staff data updates, and maintaining HR databases.
  7. Good organizational and administrative management skills.
  8. Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different departments.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  10. Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
