Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Job Descriptions:

Lead and support organizational program development, resource mobilization, proposal writing, donor engagement, strategic partnerships, and consortium development initiatives.
Conduct donor mapping, funding opportunity analysis, market scanning, and strategic positioning of VDO within humanitarian and development sectors.
Coordinate development of high-quality concept notes, proposals, budgets, logical frameworks, theories of change, implementation plans, and donor presentations.
Facilitate consortium discussions, partnership negotiations, technical coordination, and collaborative proposal development with national and international partners.
Coordinate with program, finance, MEAL, operations, safeguarding, and technical departments to collect inputs for proposals and organizational presentations.
Develop capability statements, organizational profiles, presentations, donor briefs, and strategic communication materials. Represent VDO in donor meetings, networking forums, coordination events, and strategic consultations.
Monitor donor trends, funding priorities, humanitarian contexts, and strategic opportunities relevant to VDO programming.
Support institutional fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational growth initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in proposal development, fundraising, grants, or program design within NGOs or donor-funded organizations.
Excellent proposal writing, analytical, coordination, and presentation skills; strong understanding of donor systems and consortium management.
English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent.
