Job Descriptions:

Safi Engineering LTD is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Solar Engineer to join our expanding energy division. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in solar energy systems as well as hands-on experience in power generators and related industrial power systems. This role is essential for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing solar and generator-based energy solutions for commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and supervise installation of solar PV systems, hybrid power systems, and backup generator integration projects
Conduct site assessments, technical evaluations, load analysis, and system sizing for solar and generator applications
Oversee commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar systems and diesel generators
Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering codes, and project specifications
Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, and clients to deliver turnkey power solutions
Provide technical support for power generators, electrical systems, and renewable energy solutions
Prepare technical documentation, reports, BOQs, and project proposals
Support after-sales services and operational improvements for installed systems

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in:
- Solar energy system design and implementation
- Power generators (diesel) installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Industrial power systems and energy solutions
Strong understanding of solar PV design software, electrical drawings, and power system integration
Experience working in generator and solar industries is highly preferred
Knowledge of hybrid systems, ATS/AVR, transformers, and power distribution systems is an advantage
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in field-based technical environments

Preferred Skills

Experience with commercial/industrial-scale solar projects
Familiarity with Perkins generators or similar industrial generator systems
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Fluency in English is an advantage
