Job Purpose
The Marketing & Sales Officer is responsible for marketing and selling mineral products produced and or sourced by Attai Group of Companies. The role focuses on developing export markets, particularly in Russia, CIS countries, Turkey, China, and Europe, while ensuring competitive positioning, strong client relationships, and efficient execution of international sales transactions.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. International Sales & Market Development
- Identify and secure buyers for mineral products in target export markets
- Develop long-term contracts with industrial consumers (metallurgical, chemical, ceramics, glass industries)
- Actively engage with Russian-speaking markets and maintain direct communication with buyers
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets aligned with company production capacity
B. Product Positioning & Pricing
- Analyze global pricing trends for mineral products produced or sourced by Attai Group of Companies.
- Recommend pricing strategies based on grade, purity , particle size, and logistics cost
- Coordinate with technical and production teams to align product specifications with market demand
C. Client Management & Negotiation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and trading companies
- Lead negotiations on price, payment terms, Incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF), and delivery schedules
- Handle client inquiries, claims, and after-sales support professionally
D. Export & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics teams for transport from mine to final destination using various export routes
- Prepare and verify export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, COO, BL, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Afghan export regulations and destination country requirements
E. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct regular market research on mineral product demand in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and China
- Monitor competitor activity, substitute materials, and price fluctuations
- Submit weekly and monthly sales and market intelligence reports to management
F. Representation & Networking
- Represent the company in international exhibitions, B2B meetings, and trade forums
- Promote Sky Aria’s and Sky Horizon’s mineral products through professional presentations and technical discussions
- Expand the company’s network with traders, processors, and industrial end-users
G. Language & Communication
- Communicate fluently in Russian and English with international clients
- Translate contracts, technical specifications, and correspondence as required
Support management during negotiations with Russian-speaking stakeholders
F. Skills & Competencies:
- Fluency in Russian and English (mandatory)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of mineral grading, specifications, and industrial applications
- Knowledge of export procedures, logistics, and Incoterms
- Ability to work in challenging environments and coordinate with remote mining sites
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
