Job Descriptions:
  • Develop and implement MEAL plans, indicators, and tools for Health, Nutrition, and EPI activities.
  • Conduct routine monitoring visits and supportive supervision to health facilities and project sites.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, entry, cleaning, and validation using digital and paper-based tools (e.g., Kobo, DHIS2, Excel).
  • Compile and analyze data to produce timely monitoring and evaluation reports for program teams and donors.
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
  • Monitor the sustainability of the project's results.
  • Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities.
  • Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
  • Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
  • Support baseline, midline, end line assessments, surveys, and third-party monitoring activities.
  • Manage accountability mechanisms including feedback and complaints from beneficiaries.
  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and contribute to learning events and reviews.
  • Build capacity of field staff on MEAL tools, data quality, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality, and organizational policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of MEAL experience in Health, Nutrition, and/or EPI programs.
  • Strong understanding of MEAL frameworks, indicators, and reporting standards.
  • Experience with digital data collection and analysis tools (Kobo Toolbox, DHIS2, Activity Info, Excel, SPSS).
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Dari and Pashto; English proficiency preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations frequently.
