Academic qualification: • HSC or Bachelor's degree in community mobilization, women’s empowerment, and men's engagement activities Professional Experience: • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community mobilization, facilitating dialogues, • Experience in building the capacity of women and family members, conducting dialogues with communities, capacity to conduct conflict management, negotiation skills, and family-level psychosocial support activities. Language: • Fluency in Pashto and Dari is required. • Knowing English will be considered an advantage, at least a working knowledge.
3. Key Responsibilities
Community Mobilization & Engagement
Mobilize farmers and community members to participate in project activities.
Facilitate the formation and strengthening of farmer groups, cooperatives, or producer organizations.
Liaise with community leaders, extension workers, and local authorities.
Promote inclusive participation of women, youth, and vulnerable groups.
Agricultural Support Activities
Support implementation of agricultural trainings, demonstrations, and field days.
Assist extension officers in disseminating improved farming practices and technologies.
Encourage adoption of climate-smart and sustainable agriculture practices.
Support input distribution, demonstration plots, and farmer field schools.
Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of community meetings, attendance, and activities conducted.
Collect basic field data and feedback from beneficiaries.
Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
Report challenges, success stories, and lessons learned from the field.
Coordination & Communication
Work closely with project Manager, agricultural extension staff, and partner organizations.
Act as a link between the community and the project team.
Support conflict resolution and address community concerns related to project activities.
