Job Descriptions:

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technician ensures accurate and timely results, maintains laboratory equipment, and follows all safety and quality control standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect and prepare samples for testing (blood, urine, etc.)
Conduct laboratory tests according to standard procedures
Record and analyze test results accurately
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Report abnormal findings to the concerned doctor or supervisor
Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience (experience in hospital laboratory preferred)
Basic knowledge of hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology tests
Ability to handle laboratory equipment properly and safely
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting results
Willingness to work in shifts if required
