The Product Developer is responsible for providing professional training to project beneficiaries in the specified skills according to the approved curriculum. The training will include theoretical/practical lessons, and the proportion of each component will be determined based on the training curriculum. The beneficiaries of this project include returnees, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities in western Afghanistan (Herat and Badghis provinces).
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality vocational training to program beneficiaries (a minimum of 200 trainees per class).
2. Prepare standard training notes or update existing lesson materials for the specified skills.
3. Prepare a complete list of all materials, tools, and equipment required for conducting the training.
4. Create a friendly and interactive learning environment in the classroom.
5. Work on enhancing trainees’ talents and mindsets to encourage them to focus on their skills and develop small businesses.
6. Provide supplementary lessons such as customer relations, cost estimation, sales pricing, and related topics.
7. Develop and organize a comprehensive plan for accounting and customer service components.
8. Conduct regular assessments (weekly, monthly, midterm, and final exams) to evaluate trainees’ performance and improve teaching methods.
9. Prepare exam questionnaires in a timely manner.
10. Conduct daily monitoring of trainees’ performance, including classroom and homework activities.
11. Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
12. Be present at the center from 08:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as required.
13. Submit weekly progress reports on class performance and individual trainee achievements to the Project Managers.
14. Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and safekeeping of all training materials, equipment, and documents.
15. Apply modern and standard teaching methods suitable for vocational training.
16. Teach in a simple and locally understandable language to ensure comprehension by all trainees.
17. Introduce relevant markets for buying and selling products and services related to the trade to the trainees.
