Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Video Editor will be responsible for filming, photographing, and producing high-quality video and visual content for Qamar Foundation.
This includes field filming, photography, post-production editing including motion graphics, and delivery of final multimedia outputs.
The ideal candidate must have advanced knowledge of video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Reports to: Media Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Shoot high-quality videos of field activities, interviews, and other event events.
- Capture professional photos for reports, social media, and promotional use.
- Set up and manage video, audio, and lighting equipment during shoots.
- Edit raw video footage into polished final products using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create motion graphics, titles, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
- Add subtitles, voiceovers, transitions, and sound effects to enhance videos.
- Produce short videos optimized for social media platforms.
- Ensure consistency with Qamar Foundation’s brand and visual guidelines.
- Maintain and archive all multimedia files in an organized system.
- Collaborate with the Media team to plan and execute content ideas.
- Travel to field locations as required for filming and documentation.
- Support in developing creative visual content for awareness and fundraising campaigns.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
