The Data Entry Officer will respond to the MEAL officer, under the supervision of the Programmes Manager.
Job Summary
The MEAL Data Entry will be responsible for entering and verifying data collected at the field level, ensuring its accuracy and completeness. The role includes processing of collected data, data analysis and drafting of reports, conducting field visits to targeted communities to support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, data collection and learning activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Enter data in the appropriate templates and share any challenges with the MEAL officer in a timely manner.
- Clean the entered data (need assessment, baseline, endline, pre-distribution (verification), PDM, etc.)
- Work closely with the MEAL and the Programmes team to ensure programmes monitoring and project impact
- Assist the MEAL officer with database quality control and inform him/her of any technical problems.
- Meet security and confidentiality requirements for files concerning project activities and beneficiaries data
- File the questionnaires, computerize the data, and check data entered.
- Analyze the data entries regularly and provide the statistical results.
- Support the development, maintenance, and dissemination of a complete information system including collections of good practices
- Sort and cross-check data and create tables of statistics.
- Draft reports of results based on data entered.
- Ensure the analysis of data and reporting is completed per time, according to MEAL planning.
- Make sure all the programme data is entered into a centralized database in systematic way.
- Contribute to translation of documents related to program questionnaires (English <-> Pashto/Dari)
- Update the CFM database regularly and support the implementation of CFM strategies.
- Any other related task assigned by line supervisor
